Poem: Honor Among Thieves

Honor Among Thieves

There is no honor among thieves
For all men lie
As they hide thier insecurities
Behind Walls of false pride
Thieves they are
As they steal from
Hearts so willing to give
They speak of love
ut it is not for love
That they live
They live for self
On a mission to quench
A desire unquenchable
For no woman could ever Suffice or satisfy
A love so fallible
Beware, young maiden
These thieves seek not
Monetary gain
Only lonely hearts
To add to thier collection
And seal thier reign
Thieves who wish to be
Kings
Over Broken hearted Queens
Dethroned, by lies of love and memeries of broken dreams
Seeking heroes
As these thieves proclaim to be
Perhaps I could be like them
A cold hearted women
Stealing the hearts of men
Using beauty and wit to draw them in
Perhaps I could learn to
Speak lies As they do
But what would it
Profit me to act a fool
I am not like you
I am what I am
Creation of love
Woman of honor
Leaving the past behind wth all it's pain
A Queen
With or Without a King
I shall Reign!
